A morning spent at Quirky Classics, an independent Mercedes specialist and something of a hidden treasure for anyone with an interest in classic cars. The workshop is run by Adam, whose knowledge of Mercedes—from the 1950s through to the 1980s—is as deep as it gets, and that passion is clear in the way the whole place is put together and run. The workshop itself feels like stepping into a living archive. Every corner is filled with character—rare and hard-to-find parts, ongoing restorations, and decades of Mercedes history stacked, shelved, and lined up in a way that only really makes sense when you realise how much is going on behind the scenes. It’s the kind of place you can easily lose a few hours just looking around. We spent the morning quietly photographing the space, focusing on the details, the atmosphere, and the cars within the workshop, letting everything unfold naturally rather than trying to force anything. It was a straightforward, unhurried session, which suited the space perfectly. The resulting images are stunning and really capture what makes Quirky Classics so special—a working environment built entirely around a genuine love for these cars, with history and craftsmanship present in every direction.
